Toby Carvery

A standard Toby Carvery next to the associated Premier Inn. Parking can be a bit cozy as the car park is small for two popular places. The Carvery restaurant is smooth, efficient & very popular. Booking is certainly advised for Sunday lunch. What I do like about the place is that the tables are sufficiently spaced apart so that you're not sitting on top of one another. The food is very tasty, served with a smile & with help yourself veg, you can't go wrong.

The only way to beat a Toby's Carvery, is to visit your mum. We went for the carvery specifically as we have never had a bad one. Meat was hot, juicy, and tender. Vegetables were fresh and tasty (especially the cabbage and the onions). Portion size was great, and they do crackling. And the roast potatoes are consistently tasty. Condiments are plentiful, and the price was good value for money. I can cook a decent roast myself (thanks mum), but Toby is just as good, and saves on time and washing up. Definitely going again in the future.

It is typical of us to complain about the weather, so here we are, it was too hot in the pub restaurant to fully enjoy the experience. Toby’s fault? Maybe… do you have air conditioning? Perhaps you should Anyway the Carvery was excellent as usual. We were discussing going up a second time… one more slice of meat for those that brave the endeavour, I say.

Came in a couple of weeks ago. We was greeted with a smile from the young lady that seated us. Good service great food. We witnessed staff / managers being badly spoken to when they are doing nothing wrong. Just because the customer seems to want a free meal. There’s no need for rudeness, they are just doing their jobs. We will be back very soon

Ordered online collection for 530pm, arrived at 528pm very busy as was a Sunday also queue of delivery riders who seen to be getting there orders before mine possibly due to business I didn't mind waiting 5 or 10mins as long as the food was fresh and hot I had a hot bag ready. 5 deliveroo riders have left now I'm the only one waiting 540pm. Collection host told me will be a few more minutes..my order is pretty large 2 adult carverys and 3 children meals all with extras .545pm lady brought food out in 3 large packs. Portion sizes was very good however seems like ingot extra veg rather than extra meat however was still sufficient for us all. Very pleased with the service. The food was quality and meat was very good but for me a orefer a bit more flavour and I didn't take any of the sauces there which I should have whilst I waited but I wasn't aware I was able yo do this and they didn't offer maybe as they was very busy the meat was pretty bland which is probably so its good for everyone then use the sauces to flavor your meal. Next time I'll remember to ask for the condiments to take away. Good place for the family and children 👍🏽 meal price was £48 and felt this was great value for money these days thankyou
