Panera Bread

Ok so today was my first trip to Panera. I have been wanted to try the new chicken sandwich. Before I went I looked online on their website and I noticed that they had gift cards for 20% off. That is a pretty decent deal, so I gifted myself a 10$ card ( I should have done 15$ because the food is a little costly) I couldn't find the email they sent with the gift card information on it. So I had to call the customer service number and give them all my information so they could re-send the email with the gift card number on it. I immediately got that email so now I was all set to go order. I start looking at the menu and I'm super confused. I stand there for at least ten minutes waiting for help. I had to go over to the pick up area and ask if anyone was taking orders. So finally someone came. I had to ask help with the menu. Only some items have prices listed on the menu. Also some of the items that had listed prices were not correct. So I was trying to under stand the buy two deal.. I was really confused so the lady tried to explain it to me and I thought i understood. I wanted to order the new spicy chicken sandwich and she said the I could order a salad or soup. So I wanted the strawberry poppy seed salad with chicken... But they did have any salad chicken. The woman agreed to substitute turkey instead. She rings me out for the salad and sandwich and a soda. It was twenty something dollars. I didn't have all that to spend so I canceled my salad. I only ordered the SPICY chicken sandwich and a soda instead came to 15$ and change.. I kind of felt pressured to add a tip so I did. So I go wait for my food and when I get sandwich I asked if it was the spicy, nope the original. I didn't order original but I'm hungry and don't want to wait while they made a new one (plus I kind of felt bad) so I told the woman behind the counter that I had ordered the spicy but its ok. The sandwich was small as hell for a 15$ meal but it was good and fresh. Over all my experience tells me I most likely not be coming back to Panera. Its expensive and confusing to order, and the portions are small.

Coffee was good and the food was tasty and hot. Only negative was some employees weren’t wearing their mask and gloves. I overhead someone (another employee) scolding them for this. Props to her for doing the right thing! Whether you believe in COVID or not you are providing a service and need to be respectful to everyone.

I order from Panera on line and my food is made and delivered from this location. The food quality is poor, my order is never right, the ingredients that are suppose to be on my salads are never all there, and if you order extra chicken you don't get it (but yet you pay for it). You can't call because they won't answer the phone between the hours of 11 and 2. I don't think they know how to make the food on the menu. I like Panera and especially the Cranston location at Garden City. Top notch there. Providence...not so much. Pay too much money to not get what you pay for.

I work in the mall and use their Rapid Pick-up all the time. Not once have they messed up my order the many times I’ve ordered from there. The staff is also super friendly and if they miss something with someone’s order, they’re quick to try to solve the problem. And the food always tastes great as well!
