An absolutely brilliant pub if I do say so myself, I’ve been going to this pub on and off for a couple of months now. The atmosphere is great especially on open mic night, the service is one of the best I’ve ever seen all the bartenders are great my favourite would have to be George or the Kevin De Bruyne of pouring a pint is what I’d call him because that lad always delivers haha. Would always recommend this place. A nice place for some grub a drink and a good time

We went on Sunday afternoon, the carving was closed, we had a meal from their menu, the food service and price were verry good. We will comeback again.

Really nice place, Food and cask ale seems to be generally good. Upgrading your burger beef mince would be a very good investment. I'll try the burgers again in a month or so. Hope that helps

Sunday carvery was lovely. Service from Stephanie was great, she even remembered me from the week before. Would have been 5 star for atmosphere but I had a crying child on a table next to me...who tried to bounce a yorkshire pudding off my head. That put a dampener on it, but not enough for me not to come back.

It's such a lovely place. Spotlessly clean and so well maintained. We felt comfortable and relaxed on our first visit here. The carvery was nice, and the mixed grill, although expensive, was huge. We will go again

Out for a Sunday afternoon drive. Popped in for lunch, specifically a roast. Friendly staff. We sat outside.
A choice of three roast meats, beef, gammon and turkey. Between us we had one of each. Meats were moist and tender and good sized portions. Veg was tasty and well cooked , but not overcooked, I had Yorkshire pudding, gravy, roast potatoes, Cauliflower cheese and carrot and turnip (swede?).
