Golden Krust

The food at the Poughkeepsie location is delicious and authentic. I placed a large special order for my daughter's graduation party and the food did not disappoint. The jerk chicken and fried chicken was flavorful and well seasoned. My daughters and I have been frequenting this location for many years. Service has always been good, and the owner and all of the staff has always been friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to cater an event or just to stop by for a great dinner to take home

Never knew this place existed! My husband went to go pick up the order and said the owner was so sweet. Ordered oxtail for the first time in years and it did not disappoint. My dad will be so surprised when he comes to visit for Christmas Eve. The food brought back good memories of my mom's cooking. Thank you!

Shame on you golden krust poughkeepsie, shame on you.I gave two stars and this is because the woman who serve me was so nice, at least she appeared nice.I have visited golden krust all over, brooklyn, bronx, white plains NY etc and never have i been sold food that old...I purchase 3 beef patties they were like biting in cardboard abd rubber, GK are known for their patties but these patties were unpalatable, then a serving of jerk wings, the wings was buried and camouflage in a sauce when i actually bite into a wing it was tough and dried out its was old food now i understand the saturation of sauce. My original destination was the west indian grocery for a loaf of bread, i was hungry and thought i will just go to golden krust this way i can get a patty.I regret my decision, needless to say i threw both the patties n wings in the garbage.I haven't tasted the bread yet...SAME ON YOU GOLDEN KRUST MAIN ST POUGHKEEPSIE.
