Stumbled upon this place when looking up places to eat. It ended up being on the other side of our hotel. No doubt it was fresh pasta, I hate places that say homemade but don't taste like it. Ordered Ravioli Milano al Pomodoro, I thought it was the best ravioli ever. Cooked perfectly and the filling was the perfect compliment. Tagliolini alla Bolognese was simple but in the best way. There Bolognese was meaty and really good. Again the pasta was cooked perfectly. Aglio, olio, Peperoncino was a spicy goodness. Garlicky and the hint of spice you want. The ultimate must try is the tiramisù, I'm not a dessert person at all, but this was just heaven. Chilled, creamy, coffee, all wrapped up. And they have to go versions of you need! This is the BEST pasta I’ve ever had. The sauce is perfect, the filling in the ravioli is perfect, the service was great, everything. My dad got the special which was duck breast in a white sauce and loved it. Our waitress was very friendly (I think she might also be an owner) and was happy to make conversation. A perfect last dinner in Maine and a wonderful end to our vacation :)

This is a delicious and cozy spot that's like eating in a good friend's kitchen. The food was so fresh and well prepared, the service was friendly and attentive, the ambiance is quiet enough for comfortable conversation, and the space is cozy and welcoming. They kindly accommodated the two of us, fingers crossed with no dinner reservation, at these two cute counter seats where the hostess was rolling silverware. They didn't have to do that and we appreciated it. Will definitely be back on a future visit to Portland!

Very much enjoyed my experience. Kat was my server and she was fantastic. She was knowledgeable about the wine and the food. She made excellent recommendations that I ended up going with. I tried two different glasses of Chianti and the ravioli. The sauce was flavorful and bright. The ravioli pasta was al dente and perfectly cooked. The menu isn’t huge, and that speaks to the restaurant’s ability to perfect the dishes they have. Highly recommended, I will absolutely be back. Unfortunately for frequent travelers and diners, they are not available to book on OpenTable (and that’s the only thing I would change about my experience).
