Double Dragon

Really enjoyed our visit over to Double Dragon. Had been looking to go for a while and finally got a good chance when heading over to the SE neighborhood. Atmosphere was great in the evening and makes for a good date spot. The lighting is moody, music was great, and there’s a lot of foliage so it feels a bit like an edgy jungle. Seating was busy but it was seat yourself and we were able to find a nice spot at the bar. I can see it being even busier on a weekend. Food was tasty and filling. Wound up having the ramen, fries and the smash burger. Burger had some nice crunch and good flavor with sauce and pickles on top. Ramen I will say was a bit unique having more of a Thai inspired taste than typical ramen but it was also hearty and tasty. Overall a nice evening and they also have a nice assortment of drinks to try which was fun! Would definitely return.

We stopped here for a late supper on a midnight bike ride. Maybe being extra hungry affected my perspective but I LOVED the rice bowl. Pork belly was a wonderful meat addition. The atmosphere was also really nice. My only disappointment would be the tiny selection of beers on tap, but that’s a pretty minor issue. I’m looking forward to my next visit already!

Double Dragon has me consistently coming back. Their atmosphere is super laid back, and the Vietnamese aesthetic infusion compliments it well. For an evening date or hangout with friends, the establishment doesn’t disappoint. The food is fantastic. From the bánh mì (of which all options are great) to the Asian-fusion nachos- the flavors are spot on. Drinks are also incredibly well made. Single rocks are used for their cocktails when applicable- I highly recommend the Confidence Man to enjoy an excellent cocktail with a crystal clear ice cube to top it. The non-alcoholic options are also incredibly tasty! Staff is always chill and polite, too. Never rude, always on top of delivering great service. Overall, I’ve loved this place since the first time I was introduced to it and will continue to visit it either alone or with friends whenever I’m in the neighborhood. Check it out if you haven’t!

awesome outdoor seating. there are some little bugs out there that also think the food os top notch. I tried the ramen, and my gf had a banh mi, we also ordered a couple drinks. couple of things I wanna mention; you order at the bar. I actually kind of like this because its so pointless to send service workers all over the place. the person that served me was also are bartender, and I loved the consistency- it made it way easier for me to tip. best ramen I've had, very solid port belly banh mi, the bread isn't too difficult to chew, and its hot! !! my favorite thing I'd like to mention tho is the bartender gently tasted our drinks (via disposable straws) and I smiled so wide, these little things in service make me feel so taken care of. like.. quality check on already measured out liquor? thank you. love you. it was SO good

Surprising good food and bar. The staff was friendly but expect a wait to order on a busy night. We got the loaded fries, nachos, ramen, and banh mi. The nachos stood out as they used wonton wrappers instead of chips. The banh mi was surprisingly good but the bread could be softer. The least liked item was the ramen but i came in with zero expectations. I'll definitely come back for more.

Great spot. It is small, popular, and there is not a whole lot of staff. It can get pretty cramped and service can get slow. No one's fault really but it still is a thing. Food is fantastic for a bar, even by Portland standards. Drinks are inspired and a bit silly. Fun place but avoid the crowds if you can!
