Giambotta Pizza Co

First time eating here and we loved it! We (4 people) ordered two pasta dishes, a calzone, and a pizza. All the food was solidly good (the pasta Bolognese was a tad bland). We also imbibed; the Italian beers were good! (That bumped up our price per person.) We had cannoli for dessert--best cannoli I've had to date. Service was excellent; our server Carolina was friendly, engaging, and attentive. We are already planning on going back.

*Warning* if you're expecting American Pizza. You will not like this. If you want Authentic Italian Cuisine then look no more. The service is Excellent. The prices are fair. Your plate will be clean after you eat because you will take your bread or pizza crust and sop up any remaining sauces. Everything was wonderful! Pasta made in house. On downside is you have to order from off your phone and its difficult to enlarge it and the outside is a lil unkempt. Will definitely return. Get the Golden Pomodoro!

This is a newer pizza shack located in downtown Plainfield. We ordered carry out during the COVID crisis. This upscale napoletana style pizza restaurant will definitely have our business in the future. We tried the calabrese pizza. At first I was kind of nervous because I'm used to "bar type" pizza. The soppressata meat was 100 times better than regular pepperoni. Meat had a nice spicy tang to it which is a spicy lover's delight. Topped with fresh mozzarella cheese. Any food lover can taste the freshness and quality if the ingredients. Sauce was standard. Pizza was cooked in brick oven. The slice had a lot of "flop" to it and the crust was crispy. Try the calabrese pizza and you wont be disappointed

Went there last night with the family. There were ten of us. 6 adults and four children. Immediately pleased to see that entire staff were practicing Covid mask protocol so that was a nice start too the evening Our server was Dario and we could not have been more well attended too I was particularly impressed of the degree to which the establishment keeps everything Italian. Even the sodas for the kids came bottled from Italy. That was a neat little sidebar. We order appetizers naturally ( my favorite being the zucchini) and 9 pizzas. Everyone was very pleased with all the food and my particular favorite and what I would recommend is the Marguerite pizza. It was exceptionally delicious I also wish upon everyone that they get lucky and draw Dario as the server even though perhaps the entire staff is just as accommodating Thoroughly enjoyed the meal/the staff/and the price point. When all things are factored i the price point is very well placed Will def return once again in the near future
