Mellow Mushroom

The atmosphere was fun and the staff was very nice! Food was amazing, got the parmesan pretzels and a small pizza! The dough they used is very good! Went for lunch so it was not very busy. It took a little bit of time to get our food so wouldn't recommend if you are in a hurry, but it is well worth the wait.

Finally got a chance to put this sign to the test... Been here before and I have always enjoyed the food here. And breakfast at MM is surprisingly fantastic! Not sure why I'm surprised though. My parents are in town visiting and we like trying breakfast around the valley. My mother was particularly impressed with her meal today! I believe it was stuffed French toast, maple infused sausage and a side of the cheesy breakfast potatoes. Btw, with or without cheese the potatoes are noteworthy! Can't wait to try more breakfast items here.

Has a very relaxed vibe. Wait staff is kind and helpful with ordering. We were going to get two small pizzas so we could share and try both but, our waiter told us that we could do a medium or a large and do half&half, each side being a different specialty pizza. It saved us a little money which was nice. LOTS of different beer options which is always a good thing. The pizzas take a little time to cook but, they're all made fresh so, it's worth it!

When I was growing up, the dine in sit down pizza joint was the thing to do with your family. The one I remembered going to was medieval in theme. The walls were stone like a castle. There was a fire pit, and on display was a full set of shiny armor. On the walls were swords and shields. But what I remembered the most was the amazing pizza. The crust was thick and soft. The ingredients were fresh and piled high. The cheese was warm and gooey. And when a slice was served, the cheese could have stretched for miles. The other day when I went to the Mellow Mushroom for the first time, I was reminded of how good pizza could be. The pizzas here were excellent, made in a way that tasted hand crafted with quality fresh ingredients and cooked in a real oven. From what I read, the Mellow Mushroom pizza chain was started in Georgia in the late 70s with each restaurant having it's own unique decor with a slight hippish vibe. The location I went to had a movie theater historical theme. The restaurant itself was quite large and clean. The staff was quite young and friendly. The service was pretty quick so come hungry. There was a sport bar inside with many beers on draft. If you have never been here, check this place out.

Tonite was my first time in and I loved it! Happy hour is 1/2 priced drinks!💕. My drink was REALLY small. Looks bigger in the pic than it really was. And the glass was only half full!! My server Kayla was good, however I noticed she seemed to be the ONLY waitress for the evening so she was spread super thin! So there were long periods before we saw her again.😑
