100% reccomend this place! We needed a cool quiet place to grab lunch and this was just what we needed! They made the Best falafel wrap I have ever had - ever - I am still thinking about it over a month after eating it. Their baklava was divine, crunchy, sweet, a touch of salty. Yum! They were so sweet and made my toddler a special treat that he just loved!
If I were local I would make this a frequent lunch stop for sure!

Don't let the decor fool you, this place is unexpectedly great. The service we received was extremely friendly. The food was delicious. We got the beef shawarma and some other dishes. The beef was extremely well seasoned, the hummus was also fantastic. My only minor complaint was the pita, which I didn't find that good. Extremely thin and not warm. Our group of eight (including three children) went to Old Thyme Cafe after the Arden Theater on Sunday, 1.20.2019 and LOVED everything! What a gem of a restaurant. The food was freshly made to order and delicious. Pastries are out of this world. And we were so glad we tried the Turkish coffee...it was an experience. So many dishes to choose from, many vegetarian options and all were a great value. Plus the servers treated us like family. What an amazing place!!!

We loved this place! Three of us got several different things--omelet, crepes, fresh ginger tea, a waffle, Turkish coffee--and all of it was delicious! It's all made from fresh ingredients the owner buys every morning--they don't freeze anything. All the employees were incredibly nice and we loved our experience. Plus, their falafel is AWESOME. Go here!!

A delicious restaurant with quick service and very tasty food! The lebneh was so tangy and perfect - just like what I had in Lebanon and the chicken platter was a nice portion size. 100% will return!

First day for this Mediterranean island in old city. Experience was fantastic. Very fresh. I enjoyed the humus and gyro. I tried the smoothie with fresh cuts of fruits in it and it was amazing. There are a lot of other things that seem delicious but I got full and I need to come back to try the other stuff.
