La Fourno Ristorante - Trattoria

Oh SO good. We bought a Groupon, (we were not from the state) and did not know we needed a reservation. However, the manager did not hesitate to make sure we got a table within a few minutes of walking in. The food was great. The manager was very friendly. My only complaint is the bathroom was not ADA friendly. It was VERY tight. Not sure what the ADA laws are for businesses in PA. Anyways, you gotta try the La Fourno dessert. So yummy.

This place is a fantastic little Italian restaurant on South Street. As my girlfriend and I were walking, we came across La Fourno and decided to give it a try with no prior knowledge of this place even existing. Holy delicious!!!! Our drinks were amazing, the pizza was exceptional and the desert absolutely mouthwatering. Service was spot on and the crew made us feel very comfortable. Anyone who think this place is bad is a crook. Can’t wait to get back there and try other foods on the menu.

My boyfriend and I used a Groupon which included two alcoholic beverages, two salads or soups, two entrees and one dessert. It was a great deal and everything was SO DELICIOUS!! The Sangria and Lobster Ravioli is a must. Tip: If you want to use the Groupon, just make sure you buy it at least 24 hours before your reservation or they won't let you use it.

My boyfriend and I tried to eat here last night, but unfortunately found the doors locked, and though the lights were on, no one appeared to be inside. A passerby finally told us the restaurant had closed, and when we walked by later that evening, a sign had been posted on the door stating that they were closed for repairs. We were unfortunately trying to use a LivingSocial deal that is still for sale, but hadn't seen anything from LivingSocial or on the restaurant's website regarding the closing, and the business hours on Google still indicated they were open. You may want to call ahead before eating here in the short term. I hope they're able to reopen soon so we can try it sometime!

My husband and I decided to finally go here today after passing it so often while walking up and down south street. The gentleman that seated us and served us was phenomenal. He was so friendly and made sure to keep checking on us. The food was top notch. We both are picky eaters and did not get an app. But they brought out bread and a delicious fruit tray (which I’ve never seen at a restaurant before and thought was a nice touch). We both ordered wine as well. Our total bill was extremely reasonable considering the big portions of our entrees and the wine. We will definitely be back here again!
