The beef curry brings us back time and time again. It truly is delicious. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. We have been coming for many years and have never been disappointed. Please keep producing all your tasty curries. All our family love them. The tandori fish is also a standout with our family. Thank you.

Hi , I’ve been going to Governor’s Gourmet for sometime now. I had tried many of the dishes on the menu , all the fish , curry’s and steak. A favourite of mine is garlic and lemon grilled fish with beautiful freshly made Greek salad . Can’t say I’ve ever let feeling hungry lol . Always comes with a friendly smile , nice easy going relaxing atmosphere . I love this place , it’s a must visit . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Oooh and sitting outside in the afternoon Cappuccino and cake 👍👍 perfect.

Fantastic service and food, all the fish is grilled which is a lighter healthier option that I really appreciate. Skilled barristas that brew an excellent coffee, which if you match with one of their home made cakes is absolutely awesome. I can highly recommend the home made Apple crumble, as pictured : ) If you haven't been here before, or it's been a while since you were last here, do you yourself a favour and pay them a visit soon , I can highly recommend the the entire menu.

My wife and I shared the grilled masala fish and the grilled tandoori fish last night and the flavours were nothing short of phenomenal. The portion size was generous too as you get two fillets with each serving. Service was friendly and welcoming so based on our experience I would highly recommend this place.

Another of Joondalup's hidden gems. Although the menu is limited the food here is excellent. We love it for a get together with family. I enjoy almost all of the flavours. The curries are "colonial based" Madras style and are delicious. The goulash is also delicious the meats are always tender. The fish dishes are also great, although I usually go with the curries. Staff are very friendly and are like family in that it has become a popular spot for us. I can certainly recommend Govenders for a cheap night out with delicious food. It's also great for a carry out and I have at times taken home a frozen curry and goulash.
