What lovely place. We go regularly and are never disappointed. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the food is great. My personal favourite....the cheese souffle. Delicious!

Great quality produce in the shop. Also very tasty lunch: had soup and a cheese scone and was homemade and still warm. Tea was loose leaf (the best) and all came very nicely presented. Great service too.

The Chopping Block is a brilliant deli - the meat counter is excellent with delicious sausages and blood pudding!
They serve a very good full English breakfast and today's lunch was so tasty! Highly recommended for a visit

Amazing eat in food. Highly recommend the vegetarian rolls/pastries. Also have a good selection of hipstery and local food stuffs. Good place to make a hamper.

Popped in this morning for 3 ribeyes and it’s some of the best meat I ever had. No seasoning or sauce needed, the flavour just shines through.
Upshot is, they’re all gone now and hoping to get more on Saturday.

Absolutely delicious breakfast, as a Bury native, I must add a special commendation for the black pudding, which was truly outstanding 😋

Both my husband and I go here to the cafe. He comes here once a month when he visits his dad. I go in when I'm in the area. Good tea and coffee. We had a great breakfast about 10 days ago and today a lunch. Good service and food. It isn't cheap. We've pushed out the boat and bought a steak. Again you get what you pay for.

In these times when money is important we have cut down on so much stuff but every now and then I treat my wife and I to a quality steak.
I got two fantastic sirloin steaks from here and cost £4 more than 2 finest from a supermarket but it is so so worth it. Great meat Great flavour just Great!!!!! #supportlocal

Quick lunch time date with my lovely wife. The Samlon Soufflée was amazing with a pickle and caper salad. The menu is small but mighty, and the coffee is great. Full on recommend.
