Lee Sandwiches

I always come here for their baguette. It's the only place to get fresh warm bread around here in Pasadena. It's only $1.5 for the baguette and I think that's good value. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are a little more expensive compare to other places in SGV. Therefore, I usually just get the baguette and make my own sandwich.

I hardly ever give a bad review, but the first two times I came here they were closed when their hours said they were open, and the third time they were so badly understaffed (two people in the shop during lunch rush) that the cashier stepped away to make food for a full ten minutes and I had to leave because my lunch break was going to end before I could get back to work. Maybe the food is good but I’ve never had a chance to order it… if you’d like to eat you might want to try your luck somewhere else.

Since discovering this hidden gem last year, I have not gone to any of the other foot long sandwich shops because they don’t measure up (no pun intended). Lol. You can’t beat their tasty and mouthwatering sandwiches made from homemade baguettes or croissants. Try them once, and I guarantee you’ll come back, and back, and back…..✔️

Love going to Lee's. I normally get combination number 11 the special combination. Along with a large iced coffee. Have not had any issues at any of the locations thus far. This one's a little tougher to get to because they have restaurant seating on Colorado boulevard which limits the spots out in front of this location. Otherwise service was great and the food tasted wonderful. Also if you spend over $20 in a purchase you get one of their reusable totes.

I usually buy their bottled Vietnamese coffee here in Pasadena branch, 6 bottles each time coz they have a promo buy 2 get 1 free. So when I buy 4, I get 2 free = 6 bottles that also conveniently fit their 6-pack box. I buy in this branch weekly for the last several months. Last Sunday, 8/8/21, I came to buy my “weekly supply.” The lady behind the registry said we don’t offer buy 2 get 1 free anymore. I told them ok but that they’re advertising on their website a 20% discount on all items (which they had) and would like to avail of that, instead. The lady said they don’t know of any discount (even when I showed her their website on my phone that had the 20% discount on all items) and told me, “Maybe you should’ve purchased what you wanted from the website, instead.” Really?! What an arrogant employee they have! I know not to go for the Vietnamese coffee in this branch anymore! There’s other places that sells the same coffee with better and friendlier staff.
