U Pick Cafe

We just had a nice lunch/dinner here. The place was empty but we wanted something different. I looked up places online and this was close by so we decided to stop by. I'm glad we did. The lady was very nice and the food was great too. And since no one was there it was even nicer having a nice dinner.

I have been coming to this place since a few years ago. They have the best kabob in the 626 area in my opinion. They used to offer check-in on yelp for an extra side, but it is now replaced with a free fountain drink (that’s still a good offer, but I just prefer the side). The quality of meat is always the same, very flavorful, juicy, and tender! Chicken kabob is my favorite, and I would always pick fries, hummus, and cucumber salad. The plate usually come with rice. I was here yesterday, and the A/C was strong. I could feel the air was blowing on my head. I approached the cashier, and she told me that the A/C is actually off. She mentioned that the A/C might be malfunction. It was a bit uncomfortable to eat in such a cold room. I will continue to come back and support small business.

We had plates, which came with rice and sides. Everything was perfectly spiced and homemade. The only thing to watch out for is the grilled tomato and pepper, which was very spicy, but delicious if you're into that. The hummus was our favorite part of the meal. It's made from scratch and tastes amazing. Service was fast and friendly.
