Olive Pit

One of my favorite places to eat. We just drove a little over an hour and a half just to eat at the Olive Pit in Paris, TN! No matter how far away, I'll always find my way back to that Grilled Chicken, Jason's Spicy Alfredo, Ribeye, Fried Ravioli, soups, bread and dipping sauce! Everything I've had there is delicious! The service is always so wonderful! Do yourself a favor. Go there! You can thank me later! 😁

A friend recommended this establishment to us so we decided to give it a try on the way thru. We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated and the hostess and the wait staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was adequate and we enjoyed our meal. My wife had the lasagna and I chose the crusted salmon, both were excellent, we often share and we enjoyed the meal. The tables are still spaced out extra because of covid and the interior of the facility was reflective of it's Italian influence. The service was prompt and professional, we will go again if in the area.

Ate here for first time for lunch with wife. I will say I have heard from a few that this was a really good place. My expectations may have been a little too high possibly because I was not all that impressed with the place. It is a rather small establishment, which is quite fine, typically the best places. The selection and assortment of food seemed to be too similar to each other with not many choices to choose from. Give them credit for having oil and seasonings on the table for bread. Portion for lunch was just right. May go back in future, however not a must go place when family is in town.

Was very disappointed. They were out of anything to put on my salad except for cherry tomatoes. It stated on the menu that it was a mix of iceberg and romaine. It was only a pile of iceberg. My boyfriends meal was supposed to be crusted salmon on top of a bed of risotto or something similar, with a special sauce. They told him after it was cooked that they were out of the sauce. He got his meal and the salmon had zero flavor except for a fishy taste. And the pasta underneath was completely plain. We told our waitress that it tasted terrible. She apologized over and over again for all of the missing items, but no discount was given or offered. Will not be back.

Such a wonderful restaurant!! The place I was supposed to have my rehearsal dinner told us at the last minute they would not accommodate to us after a 3 week reservation, and the Olive Pit came to the rescue!! They made enough food for 30 of us on very short notice and were so kind through it all. Not only are they kind, but their food is WONDERFUL. Highly recommend!!
