A fun step back in time to classic counter service burgers and hotdogs! I visited with a group a few weeks ago and called ahead - they were ready for us and moved through our group quickly and with excellent service. The managers were both wonderful to work with and it was an encouragement to see the on duty manager working right alongside his staff to serve us. Plus they have them best onion rings ever! And my friends love their crunchy, vinegary pickles! Check them out and support this classic local business.

Great place as always! Prices went up ALOT! 8$ for a quick burger is kinda pricey being they still use the same small patty’s as most classic hotdog, hamburger places. Some things have changed from the past, I ordered fries with Texas sauce, the sauce came in a cup on the side. The hotdog all the way was still as amazing as always!

Before there were McDonalds and Burger Kings and Shake Shacks on every corner, this Jersey burger spot has been serving burgers to Bergen county residents for decades. Its cozy, its quiet, the food's good. Lots of options aside from burgers too, hot dogs, pizza, fries chicken. It's a good spot, it's not fancy, it's not epic, but its reliably good.

I’ve been coming here for over 50 years and it has been consistently very good. Come here for a good burger and the pickle bar. You won’t be disappointed.

Great memories enjoying breakfast at The Fireplace. Pancakes and sausage along with the fresh squeezed orange juice will always be remembered. Not to mention the hamburger and those onion rings too. Glad to have been able to enjoy this establishment during my years of living in NJ. This place will surely be missed. 😀😪

Love this place ...stopped cause I usually get there famous steak sandwich but it was before lunchtime then realized that they offer breakfast so my friend and I tried it out....
Gotta say we were very sadifed and will be back again ty for the great service and food !

It was a quaint and cute place! Menu is simple and great! The Cajun fries were not the best but I'm from the South so I have a particular taste for these types of fries! Burgers were good! Would come back and the prices are soo affordable!
