It's not just the place, it's the people, from the front desk staff, the food and beverage manager, the bar tenders, the staff throughout the proprerty in general. Only found this place about two years ago, but have enjoyed it so much, I've been back like 6 times. The staff is exceptional, everyone is so nice and accommodating. The facilities are both well maintained and offer a variety of activities and venues to enjoy the serene and hip atmosphere. The restaurant has a core menu of delights and seasonal items that never disappoint. And the bar is great and offers some great house cocktails that are not to be missed.

Stayed at Avalon after doing tons of research on where to stay for a solo trip and it exceeded my expectations! I felt super comfortable being there as a woman traveling alone, and being so close to downtown made exploring, even at night, easy. The hotel is really cute and my room was thoughtfully updated. I loved having multiple pools to hang out at and the gym was really nice too! The staff was really attentive and kind. The food and drinks were good. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautifully kept grounds, comma cute decor in rooms, clean, comfy bed, great dimmable lighting in room, Pools are nice and clean and the perfect temperature, jaccuzzi located near the spa had amazingly strong jets so Warm and relaxing! Food and drink by the pool is great and pool service is excellent even the valets are sweet and welcoming! We are going to make this our yearly anniversary trip from now on ! And we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed!

I had to extend my stay at Avalon due to several reasons, however I was definitely not mad about it! Every single person made me feel extremely welcomed, comfortable, and almost like family. They would go out of their way to make sure that I was taken care of. This will be the only place that I’ll stay at the next time that I travel to PS. Thank you all!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at the Avalon. We really enjoyed our time at this boutique hotel that oozes with Palm Springs vibe. Our favorite thing was the regency pool and how quiet and serene it was in the morning. The food was also delicious. But the thing that was truly epic was the service and staff. It was 5 star level. It competes with a Four Seasons type service level. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was friendly and helpful. Great job Avalon. We’re looking forward to coming back.

A Stay to Remember at Avalon Hotel and Bungalows, Palm Springs So, let me tell you about my recent stay at the Avalon Hotel and Bungalows in Palm Springs, CA. It was absolutely wonderful, right from the get-go! We were greeted by the most welcoming front desk staff, and then there was Raj, the valet, who was just fabulous! He handled our luggage like a total pro, delivering it straight to our room without a hitch. Walking into the lobby was like stepping into a super cool, homey oasis. The design is just gorgeous, making you feel like you've come home (if your home was a hip, stylish hotel!). Now, let's talk about the pools - they were amazing! They hit the perfect temperature sweet spot, so you could lounge in the water without feeling like a human popsicle. And the pool servers, oh boy, Eloy and Brian, you guys rock! They were always checking on us, delivering top-notch service round the clock. Our room? Spacious and decked out in the stunning design of Kelly Wearstler. I mean, this place has been open for 18+ years, and thanks to Kelly W. and Brad Korzen, the decor still feels timeless and fresh. Shout out to the housekeeping staff too - they did a fantastic job cleaning our room every day. Let's not forget about the food! Chi Chi, the on-site restaurant, has this new chef who's shaking things up with delicious dishes like fried chicken. Heard rumors about a fried chicken sandwich coming to the lunch menu - fingers crossed! Also, their cheeseburger? To die for. And the bartenders? They nailed it with some truly awesome libations. The Estrella Spa is a hidden gem, maintaining its status as one of the best in the desert. It's got this quaint, cozy vibe that you'll love. And if you're a gym rat like me, you'll appreciate their killer equipment. Finally, a big thank you to Ryan, the Food and Beverage manager. He oversees Melvyns and Chi Chi and is just the nicest guy. His service was top-notch and really made our stay extra special. In short, the Avalon team knocked it out of the park. Our stay was magical, and I can't wait to go back.
