Il Corso

FABULOUS meal at Il Corso! It was exactly what we were hoping for - a relaxing, tasty Italian dinner. The service, the ambiance, and the food were all fantastic. My husband ordered the linguini and clams, we shared grilled calamari, and I had the Mediterranean salad and octopus. We loved everything - generous portions and reasonable prices as well!

We celebrated a birthday at Ill Corso during our visit to Palm Springs. The restaurant had always caught my eye, and I'm glad we finally had the chance to experience it. The venue was beautifully decorated and spacious, and we enjoyed dining on the patio. Stephanie, our server, was welcoming, attentive, and despite being busy, she provided excellent service. We started with a bottle of 2017 Poggio Nardone Brunello di Montalcino, which set the tone for a wonderful evening. The Pomodori E Burrata salad was fresh and well-seasoned, with the string beans adding a delightful crunch. The Calamari was good, but it didn't personally wow me. However, the Tartuffo Pizza was a pleasant surprise. The flavors were well-balanced, the bread was perfectly made, and it paired wonderfully with the Poggio Nardone. For our main course, we chose 'The Immigrant' Paicines Red Blend 2017, along with a medium rare Bistecca a la Florentina and roasted vegetables. The steak was cooked well, although some of the sides were slightly overcooked but still tender and juicy. We skipped dessert as we were full and opted for coffee instead. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we all agreed that we will definitely return. The lobster pasta we saw at another table looked incredible, and I personally can't wait to go back for the Truffle Pizza. First time there, and everything was just amazing! Our server, Alexandra was incredible! She was so pleasant always making sure we were great! The food was just, I have no words other than sooooo fulfilling, savory, fresh, creamy - I had the ceasar salad w the tortellini [Recommended by Alexandra and I'm glad I went with that!] Desert and coffee was the perfect topper! Muchas gracias Alexandra - sigue sonriendo! Thank you Il Corso! Very delicious!

This place has a very nice ambience and premises are very neat and well taken care of. Now, the food was not a disappointment, we had the private room with a set menu, had the peso pasta and it has been so far the best pesto I’ve had, very tasty yet not overpowering. The Manager Carlos provided such a wonderful customer service and was very responsive. You have to check it out next time you are in Palm Springs.

Wonderful place with one of the best Italian dishes you can find around Palm Springs. Absolutely wonderful soup and unbelievable pizza.that good pizza is hard to find, it really melts in your mouth. Atmosphere is good and terrace is great. Waiter did his best to be as helpful as possible. I would recommend this place to anybody who is in love with Italian cuisine.
