Los Agaves

Stopped by about 11am on Saturday, this place is located in The Collection shopping center in Oxnard, if you eat here your child eats free which is nice, the pricing wasn't anything more expensive than most places. I had the Quesadilla with steak which was cooked perfect and flavorful, we also ordered Birria tacos which were phenomenal as well. I ordered a house margarita too! I'm pleased all around with this place and customer service.

Ordered through DoorDash twice, first time got the chile verde plate and second time tacos gobenador, both were very flavorful but for gobenador - the shrimp were overcooked to my disappointment. Both were quite pricey, $15.54 for chile verde and $21.54 for the tacos. I love that they're not stingy with their salsa and their chips are quite addictive

Food was bland and dry. Don't come here expecting authentic Mexican food, it's an Americanized version that goes for the food and the establishment. Was expecting award worthy sauses as advertised on the website and menus it tasted horrible it tasted stale and was paired with sour cream that was stiff. I highly doubt anything was fresh. Tables were sticky even though its says that the tables are cleaned after every use.Orders weren't correctly brought out either. Overall its over priced and underwhelming. Went here for my birthday dinner and its safe to say my family and I won't be coming back.

The restaurants interior was really warm and inviting. It's a new restaurant it looks modern and elegant. The girl cashier was friendly and nice. I appreciate her service. The other male cashier was rude. And the food sucked sad to say. I got the Los agaves chicken salad and added shrimp . Shrimp had a weird smelly fishy smell. Not worth how much I paid. My husband is on the toilet as we speak (not good)after eating their chicken chimichanga entree. We're not ones to ask for our money back but we'll sure make a review for others to not make our same mistake of coming here.
