Excellent cakes, probably best 'English' cakes in Oxford, and very generous portions! Always a welcoming atmosphere and a nice place to sit and chat. Tea could be a bit stronger but then a lot of people, Americans especially, like tea really weak nowadays

Lovely staff and good service but the cakes were surprisingly dry and the vegan cake almost had no flavour. Having the drinks inside to be with glass rather than plastic will make it better. I love their brownies but also having some outside seatings in the garden will be nicer as well.
The place looks lovely, coffee is good, bakery is fresh (cinnamon buns deserve a special mention and go away quickly in the mornings). There is also a nice offer in the mornings on weekdays which is very pleasant as makes your breakfast …
