Wendy's

I hadn't eaten at Wendy's in years and decided to stop here one day. The food is much better than I remembered. The employees have been nice to us on every visit. It's probably the cleanest and nicest dining area of any fast food restaurant I have visited. My only complaint is that the floor in the women's bathroom is insanely slippery.

It was a pleasant lunch time experience. The biggie bags are where it's at especially when feeding multiple people on a budget. But I tried to get the $4 bag for my son and they gave us the double burger $5 bag and I didn't notice but was like no big deal. Then my daughter dropped her sandwich on the floor and couldn't eat it and they didn't give her a new one I had to pay for another whole sandwich. That was the only downsides of the day.

Unfortunately, our food was not up to par. I've eaten at this location before and it was some of the best fast food I've ever had. As in EVERY TIME I've ever gone there or just passed by, the drive thru was lined up all the way around the building and the lobby was packed. There was a sign on the door that the lobby was closing at 7:00 p.m. and we got there around 6:45. There was a girls soccer team still ordering and eating, along with the full drive thru so we should have just left but our own circumstances made the decision for us. We ordered the newest thing on the menu, some kind of cheesy bacon burger with onion rings and a cheesy toasted bun, and it was bad. It had no flavor, it was cold and it was dry. It looked like it had been cooked twice. The fries were fresh and hot and the service was pretty good, considering the circumstances. I'm still giving them four stars because, as I said, I know they usually do better. Just don't blame me if you have the same issue I did. Perhaps the long lines are now for a different reason other than their usually better than most fast food restaurants.
