Just the right amount of grunge for a dive bar. Nice 8ft pool table, good service, and they’re open late!! Locals seem to hang out here as well, which is perfect for an out of towner like me.

10/10 dive bar vibes. You have to pay $ for the jukebox to play music. We played pool, drank bottled beers, and chatted up the bartender. Such a fun spot to get a local feel for Ouray. Silver Eagle Saloon >>> Ouray Brewery.

Priced right, staff is fast and knows the job. Always a local or two hanging out. I LOVE this bar! It's small and perfect. No pictures cause I am always too busy enjoying the atmosphere. Pool table in the back. Lots of history- but what'd you expect?!

My wife and I were visiting Ouray and stopped in last Thursday for an afternoon drink. Brad, the owner and bartender, went over several mixed drink options for my wife and made them perfectly. Great conversation with him about Ouray and the area. Really enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back.

The Silver Eagle has been under new ownership for about 2.5 years (almost 3) and no longer smells of smoke. Many would never know it had been previously been a smoking bar either. They take credit or cash, have a few different bar games to choose from, and often offer free music or karaoke. It's such a fun environment to be a part of, and I highly recommend stopping in for a drink on your next vacation.
