Applebee's

Service was okay. The restaurant was far from full but it was too busy for the people working. The young guy who was our waiter seemed way out of his depth. Food was not good at all and the drinks were not any better. We used our gift card but will not be going back. I am not sure if the fail was in the kitchen or the training. Other waitresses were great and I know were dong their best but the kitchen and bartenders failed them.

Kind of a mixed bag on this visit. Our party of six included three young children, but evidently there was no place suitable for us except in the bar. This wasn't so bad as it was still fairly early and there were not a lot of drinkers, however that meant that the waitress was split between waiting on us and other customers and tending bar. She ran around like a chicken with her head cut off trying to take care of everyone. Although there were some delays, our waitress did an extraordinary job trying to keep everyone satisfied. All in all this was not a particularly suitable situation for a party with young children. There were a few other problems, such as when the appetizer was delivered we had no plates to use, so we ended up having to use napkins to share the appetizer. On the positive side, when our entrees came, they were steaming hot and very tasty and exactly what we ordered. In the end it was a very enjoyable visit and the food was fine.

Good food and service. Our server was friendly and efficient. Sorry I do not remember her name. Masks and social distancing were in effect. Our server was spot on with her steps of service as well. She hit every sales opportunity. We had the 2 for $22 deal. We chose mozz sticks and two medium cheeseburgers. Wow !! Burgers actually cooked to temp !! Thank you !! Also the hostess was ready and waiting when we arrived. Overall perfect experience.

For the best deal we always get the half up appetizers that are offered till 4:00 at the bar every day. We had the boneless barbecue honey chicken wings, onion rings, steak quesadilla, and queso dip. Everything was exactly what you'd expect the new state quesadilla was good but lacking in cheese like the only feeling was in the middle other than that all good just typical Applebee's food.
