Great food and reasonable prices! The service tonight was good but it seemed like the staff had worked a long day already and had too few people especially with how busy they were still after 7pm.

I had a nice experience at this diner! It feels very warm and welcoming. The staff is super friendly, great service. I got the cheddar bacon burger and that it was slightly above average. The fries however were delicious. Perfectly crunchy! The food wasn’t phenomenal, but rather, on par with what you’d expect from a nice family diner. Few complaints!

We came on a Friday night. Relatively busy and the wait after we were seated was slightly longer than usual. The food was amazing, portion sizes are huge for the price and staff was friendly and personable. Great experience all around. We got the Bigfoot chicken fried steak, waffle, and biscuits and gravy with some lemonade. Everything was hot and correct.

It was my first time at the Orem location, and I enjoyed the food quality much more than at a location in Sandy. The bacon was crunchy, the French toast was great, my wife liked the eggs Benedict, and the kids portion of the scrambled eggs with ham and cheese was huge. Everything was fresh and hot.
We would go back and recommend this location.

Huge portions, fun cabin-like atmosphere. My monster pancakes were a tad drier than I like, but overall my family had a great time and good food at the diner. Also, try the cinnamon hot chocolate, it's really good.

Great service and even better food. I went with my grandparents and I got the Denver omlet. (Highly reccommended). My grandma got the chicken avocado sandwich. And my grandpa got the largest burger they had. We all loved our food and we will definitely be going back there. (Also the food looks better in person than on camera.) Try to get the server Eden. She gives spectacular service!

If you are wanting breakfast that is so delicious and leaves you feeling cozy, Black Bear Diner is the place to go. I was visiting from out of town and wanted something different from the same chain breakfast stops. My friend recommended this and it was a great awakening.
This location gives you a really cozy cabin feel when you walk in. The staff was very welcoming and helped me to my seat very quickly. They were very in tune to when I needed help or refills. The menu is a tad overwhelming, but the staff is very helpful when it comes to any questions you might have in regards to the options.
I did order the bottomless cold brew and I wasn’t too impressed but that didn’t stop me from enjoying the whole experience in itself.
If you truly want a family welcoming location with decently priced breakfast options, this is the place to go. Next time I’m in town, this is a go to place again.

If you want to go a little beyond "breakfast for dinner," nothing beats Black Bear Diner! So much to choose from and EVERYTHING is AWESOME!!! This time I got Chicken Fried Steak Benedict- oh my gosh!!!! Soooooo good! Perfectly poached eggs with the most tender tasty breaded steak cutlets on top, of course yummy English muffins and heavenly Hollandaise make it a true Benedict and this place knows how to do it right! Everyone at my table got something different and everyone loved their meal!
Special shout-out to our fantastic server Cassandra who did a great job taking care of us all! She was friendly, efficient and always there at the right time for whatever we needed. Thanks so much Cassandra for your hard work and great service!

Probably the best service I’ve had in a long while! Our server was amazing and had a great sense of humor. Every employee wished us a great day on the way out. Everyone was so friendly. I tipped extra because of how amazing the service was. The Reuben sandwich I had was very good and the others in my group said their breakfast food was also very good.

Food Quality:
It was amazing I got the country fried steak with house potatoes with 2 fried eggs and a biscuit. The taste is amazing. I’ve gotten this a few times and I love it. The serving portions were alright! I’m comparing it when the last location I went in St. George it was ginormous.
Service:
it was great! The server was very attentive and quick. She refilled our drinks with quickness. I was like impressed because she had a couple of tables and she did great taking care of all of them.
Cleanliness :
It was neat and tidy. Our table was wiped down before we sat down.
Pricing :
I think the pricing is fair. I mean if I get the same big amount I’m used to then it’s worth it.
Definitely try this place if you haven’t been.

Black Bear Diner is one of my favorite places to eat. This visit was not my favorite, but I will go back. Their food is usually so delicious. The server was super friendly, and he did a great job. We weren't even part of table group, but he decided to just serve us instead of make us wait.

Went to this location for the first time on Black Friday. We expected the wait to be very long since it was packed but they turned the tables over really quick!<br/><br/>Got a generic eggs and smoked sausage combo. Came with an enormous biscuit which was tasty. Husband got biscuits and gravy and said their country gravy was spot-on. <br/><br/>Our server was attentive and our drinks were never empty.

What a terrible time I am having with a lot of Orem chain restaurants. This location is the worst I have been to. The service was fine but the food was lacking.<br/> Go to the ones in Salt Lake valley instead. Never had an issue with the ones up that way. Had a crapy plat of corned beef hash. Two others had ice cold french toast. Wow.

Black Bear Diner is another establishment set out to take the money out of your pockets to be delightedly disappointed. I wouldn't even go here ironically. Please if you accidentally have the thought to go here, first hit yourself then redirect yourself to Joes Cafe or Cafe 500. You'll thank me, and so will your wallets. <br/>Hash browns need to be cooked in order to serve to customers. Huge pancakes! Delicious food, prompt friendly service, and small town diner charm will likely make this a favorite. The vegetarian omelet was delicious. Kids love the chocolate chip pancakes.
