Thai Spice

The place was a 5 star experience when Ricky was the owner . Food was delicious . Portions were generous . A chicken dish actually had chicken in there . We have been getting take out and dine in for many years since he opened with no problems . Yesterday we ordered take out and had ordered basil chicken . When we got home the portion was half of what we usually get and most of the container was full of mushrooms and only 4-5 small pieces of chicken. When we called to complain they said they are under new ownership and Ricky is no longer the owner . Time to look for a new Thai restaurant after coming here for many years . Addendum . Visited the place today again after the last bad experience 2 weeks ago to give them one more chance . They were back to their 5-star rating . Food was delicious and portions were generous . Ricky was there today to help the new owners and was friendly as usual . Definitely will continue to come here for the best Thai food in the state .

This is a little hole in the wall on the Boston Post Road in Orange. The food is really, really good. I love the sambal chicken dinner--very spicy and the flavors are amazing. My wife usually orders their stir fry with ginger, and my kids really dig the various curries. The prices are reasonable and the food is consistently excellent. We usually get take out. The restaurant is on the small side with several tables available. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for excellent Thai food in the Orange - Milford - West Haven areas. Share review Write an update Remove review

I came late with my friend when they were about to close but we didn't know that and they seat us to table .. the staff were nice but were too pushy for us to rush and order ( but not rude at all thank God ) then we realized we came in late ... But then they really just sat and waited us to eat comfortably I was thankful.. so for the food the tampura was Krispy and delicious, I ordered the noodles soup with veggies and I must say the vegetables were really fresh, the soup was really delicious. The only thing that bothered me was the restaurant smell .. my friend said it might be the food smell but really no the smell wasn't pleasant and I know how thai/Chinese food smells like .. hope it was just a one time thing and when I comeback next time I won't smell it . ^^
