Carvel

I went in on Friday night for my usual chocolate chip cookie dough with marshmallow topping. The line was long, but the staff worked rapidly to get me and my girlfriend out of there in record time. The employees seemed happy and they were very friendly. They even let us both try two flavors each and were patient with our indecisiveness. Deep down, I knew I wanted that cookie dough sliding in my belly. Nevertheless, I bothered them for multiple samples, that they supplied happily. We will be back!

Terrible, sadly I was visiting with my family wanting to get some ice cream for my 4 kids my wife and I and had to leave. I came in to hear an father discussing with the manager about firing his daughter. For giving a 2 weeks notice about a vacation they were taking. I know where I'm from 2 weeks is sufficient amount of time. I didn't want my kids to see that it was ok for a company to do this. The kids are trying to make money for themselves for the summer why give them a hard time - and I heard her father say she was just 15 years old.

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would !!! The owner mentally and verbally abused my 15 year old little sister & this was her first job!! Parents - if you would not want your teenage child treated in this manner then please DO NOT GO HERE. There is another carvel close by on rt 34 in Matawan which I would gladly give my business to.
