I don't know what happened to this place... Recently the staff has just lost all customer service and are either rude or just outright unprofessional. The store no longer offers 711 promotion pricing... They tried over charging me $5 on cigarettes when I mentioned the price is wrong the employee said the brand is different from the price posted in front of the pack??? I ended up going to the 711 in Carlsbad where the prices are normal, the employee informed me to write this review.

Store Clerk, Has told my friend to grab a 2nd sugar wafer cookie package, when she then returned to the counter., He accused her of putting another package of wafer cookies in her purse. At which time she told him to look in the purse. He refused saying he had video. she continued to try to tell him to look that he didn't know what he was talking about. At that point he kicked us out of the store telling us to never come back. we said why would we? You just accused us of stealing something and we are plainly trying to show you that there's nothing in the bag and you refuse to look in it. this guy is plain crazy! I personally have been going there for year's, he's been hostile many times to other people while I was there, but this is the first time I've been party to one of his delusions while I was shopping in the store. He definitely does not belong in a people orientated business because he has absolutely no interpersonal skills. Not sure what country comes from but he definitely does not seem happy in our country and should go back home, or at least get a different job. Sad, sad, sad!!!

My family and I are frequent visitors to this 711. It’s a friendly family store if you’d like. We are always greeted, can laugh and joke with the workers. A review was made a while ago about an bad day encounter. Since then haven’t had any issues. We don’t like going to any of the other stores as not as friendly, do t have the things we want.

This new day crew are the worst. Your making your purchase and they don’t speak or greet you. The speak around you! I was getting my two quick picks and misspoke daily 5..corrected myself immediately fantasy 5 He still gave me the incorrect ticket. Daily derby Me- Ok, I said I didn’t want this ticket, I wanted fantasy 5. he “you asked for it”. Me-I corrected myself before you pushed the button. he-still added it to my charge.. Me- repeated myself he -“that’s not cool” Me-where’s your manager am not paying for it! He- again not cool and took the ticket off. Me-asked his name which he gave me... I was upset with his customer service it was both of our faults I misspoke one word and he took one word to make it his choosing. Nonetheless the comments and lack of customer service displayed, not cool. I will be doing any daytime 7-11 trips else places and go in the evening when they friendlier people are there. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️2 older gentlemen evening and another older noc shift. They are the best friendly, positive and speak to you not around you! These three are the reason we keep going back!

New staff is always on their phone.. i was helped by a male cashier and he was in his cellphone the entire time he was helping me, he was speaking his language, so i know he wasn't talking to customers.. he also smelled pretty bad.. very annoying.. he also yelled at me in his language becs i didn't understand what he was asking me.
