Quality fried food joint that is local to its core. Things are cooked fresh so could take 15 minutes for your order. Has definite charm I can respect being new to the area in a rapidly gentrifying Oakland. Definitely a go to spot for a Fried food fix.

It's a hole in the wall, with one fantastic woman working in there. She does not cook your food until after you order it, so it is hot and fresh. Whole Fried chicken wings, fried catfish, talapia, red snapper, etc. is all on the menu. They also have banana pudding, several cakes, and a multitude of drinks. I worked in Oakland for two week assignment, and ate they every day! Yes, I was hooked. Go!!

I was a little disappointed today 😐.. this is one of my undercover GoTo spots that I always talk about, but today, for the first time. I was disappointed. The fries was great, but the grease she fried the chicken in was truly suspect...🤔🤔 Never have i had that problem at Quick Bite, so next time I indulge i hope they make up for it !! I'll be sure to get there before closing !! 😉😉

Very good chicken sandwich. The fries are to die for. A small little hole in the wall but very good. The prices are also hard to beat especially in downtown Oakland. Very limited seating so it's more of a grab and go type place.

Just what the name is Quick Bite. 15 minutes for 1 piece fish and 1piece chicken and fries . For the Low price of $5. It's a small establishment with only 2 small tables but its Delicious. The cook is a one woman band but she turns the food out constantly. With a very pleasant attitude and service.
