Hegenburger's Restaurant

Nice place for a quick bite to eat, prices are so so. I paid 21$ for a burger fries and drink. Fountain soda machine was out of order but they substitute a drink from their 2 fridges they have, I got a glass bottle coke which was cool. I got the double combo with cheddar cheese, bacon, avocado and grilled onions which was why the price was 21$ for a combo because every addition was $1.50 more. The fries were super hot and fresh and the burger was good. Everything came in a to go bag with 5 ketchup packets and some napkins. Also when driving here be careful when you turn into the parking lot and the entrance has some messed up road thay could easily damage your vehicle.

The beautiful thing about Oakland and it’s snail business is that there is a sense of care to give your best. I got to try the chicken teriyaki at Hegenburger and it was the best, just the right amount of sodium in the sauce. Very busy during work hours lunch. But people are just patient knowing what they will get is good for their body. I will try the burger next time I visit.

I love a meaty, cooked, juicy, burger. Nicely, done! No skinny, fake, tasting, In & Out burger. Lol Ordered a mushroom burger. Granted, I would've loved more mushrooms. It was still filling with lots of fresh fries. Impressed with the friendly service, and quick. Impressed, for a notso fancy, restaurant. It is Clean! No sticky tables like a majority of places.👏👏 The Floor was clean! Family owned. I will be coming back. When I am in this area. For a quick burger or something else.

Hegenburger has got to be the best burger spot in Oakland!! Their curly fries are to die for honestly. I have been going there for about 3 years now and I love that I can still keep going even after turning vegetarian/pescatarian because their veggie burger is sooo good too! They also have a fish burger and their Teriyaki Salmon was delicious! 5 out of 5 stars for awesome food and wonderful service every time!
