Hibachi Burger

Let me first say this place seems solid overall. They seem to make solid food. But as I was waiting for a delivery a gentleman came in because they prepared two of his burger incorrectly. They would not refund him. They would not remake it fresh. They simply took the luke warm patty off of the old burger and place it in a new bun. The customer was very polite and just accepted this poor customer service. It was enough for me to never eat here, and it was not even my own experience. FYI the customer did politely ask multiple times if he could get a refund or remake. So this is NOT a case of the customer was fine with redressing old burger. This was a case of "We will redress the old burger and nothing else so deal with it". And the customer could make a scene or deal with it.

I came across this place by accident, and was thankful I did. A cozy place with take out and dine in. Super friendly staff and the wait for the food is always worth it, truly. The hibachi burritos are to die for. Meat, rice, and veggies all cooked and marinated perfectly, the fries are crispy and seasoned, the serving size is perfect for second dinner out of a to-go box, and the fried zucchini sticks sent me to another plane of existence. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back!

This is one of those holes in the wall that wouldn't scream at you to come in. Yet: the food was amazingly good ~ well balanced in flavor, the meat tender, veggies were carmelized and tender but not mushy. Delicate flavor profile but distinctive. Exceptional. I will crave the flavors and textures and I will return. And we ate outside .... it was delightful.

So this could have easily been a 4 star or 5 star review but my last visit here lowered that. My first visit was great the lady was friendly and food was good. My 2nd visit was me and 4 of my guys on Saturday at 2:38 p.m. we walked in and the guy said I close in 20. We then said ok can you you cook for us? He said depends on what you order. There was other customer there already and a burger place should have easily been able to get 5 burgers out in 20 minutes. But apparently they didn't want our business. The guy was very rude.
