Went here with the hubby for the first time yesterday and overall had an ok experience. The food was absolutely amazing, my husband had the spicy shrimp pasta and I choose the green goddess salad with shrimp and both were delicious so props to the chef! The reason it's not five stars is because the staff were not the most attentive. We found ourselves waiting almost 15 minutes for service after being seated with not so much as a glass of water offered. Each time we interacted with our server it seem to take a decent time for him to check back in (it's the holiday season I get it, but there really wasn't that many people there as it wasn't traditional lunch or dinner time) I also would have bought a cocktail if they weren't $17 upwards a piece! I'm no penny pincher but $17 dollars for a cocktail is ridiculous and completely unwarranted. Overall the food was great but the rest could have been better.

We had the scampi pomodoro pasta and Niçoise salad, alongside with basil tomato soup. All dishes tasted fresh, well seasoned and not on the greasy side. Portions were a little smaller than other places but adequate for lunch. Prices are definitely well, oak brook-priced so there’s no surprise here. Will return if I’m in the mall again.

Thank you for a beautiful day at Ruscellos. Our service by Kristen was excellent. Very kind and professional. She is ready to do whatever it takes to make your experience Excellent. And the amazing food choices were hard to choose from. We had appetizers, the salmon Nicqua salad, shrimp and pasta, chicken Pomodoro… It was all fantastic. We finished with the chocolate heath cake and coffee. Shopping at Nordstrom’s is always such a fun uplifting experience and to highlight that with a meal at Ruscellos made the day perfect.

We have gone to the cafe in Nordstrom for probably the last 15 years since our children were quite young. It is a great place to bring kids and have really good quality food served in quick fashion. Now that the kids are grown, we still enjoy going because we're nowhere going to get delicious meal at reasonable prices served quickly. There is also rarely a wait for a table. The servers are always friendly and professional. If you happen to go in October, the pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting are one of the best desserts we've ever enjoyed. A go to location anytime. We're hungry and want to be assured we can get seated quickly.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times and I feel like this place is kind of a hidden gem at Oakbrook. The quality of the food (for the most part) is super impressive and always fresh. Their French fries are probably my favorite part of every meal there, so so good. Not so good are the taco appetizers (they are tiny and come in a crunchy shell, don’t let the menu fool you). Also one star off for the slow service we had today, it took us about 30 min after we were done with our food to close our bill. Otherwise great place and great food if you can catch it at a less busy time!

I always joked that I wanted to have a drink at the bar by the men’s section in Nordstrom, so I finally went for it. HOLY WOW. I tried the blueberry vodka cocktail as well as the billionaire and I was blown away. These are the types of drinks I expect in downtown Chicago or some other metropolis where thought and procedure into drinks are emphasized. Ryan was the bartender and in watching him, I was blown away with his attention to detail from his double straining down to the zesting of the glass. Pure art. I will 100% come here again as the drinks are on par with seasons 52, Blanco and others. A true hidden gem.
