Meadows Kitchen

Meadow Well Connected is a safe haven within the busy borough of North Tyneside. Services are available for people of all ages and backgrounds including play and learning for youngsters, IT skills, music tuition and gardening skills. Staff at the centre are polite, efficient, and work tirelessly to serve the local community and further afield. There really is something for everyone here, many excuses and reasons to connect with others and find support, or even just drop in for food and drink in the wonderful and reasonably priced community cafe. Personally, i moved to North Tyneside five years ago and didn't have any social networks or sense of belonging to the area. The centre have enabled me to realise and pursue my goals of setting up my own business. I have been supported every step of the way and encouraged to push the limits and achieve what i thought was out of my reach. I have made friends, learnt new skills, and in times of need found compassion and support to help me take the next steps. Community centres either get it or they don't; Meadow Well Connected get it and then take it a step further - what a wonderful place to be.
