Was in VA for a road trip and absolutely loved this place! We found it accidentally and very happy we did. We went during night time and had a blast! Their hamburgers were delicious. We went for brunch as well and it was like a buffet! Loved their food options. Excellent customer service as well. Most importantly the view is beautiful.

This is the best place you can visit while in downtown Norfolk. Love this place whether it’s for brunch or a night out. I had the chicken wings and shrimp tacos. Both were delicious and you can taste the freshness and high quality of ingredients. Great selection of craft beers from local breweries. Bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable. Love the whole aesthetic and ambience. Live bands play here as well. Pictures vary from brunch to dinner.

My husband and I recently moved to this area. We wanted to go out so we decided on Grain for the view and because there are a lot of beer options. It was too hot to sit outside plus all of the tables didn't have umbrellas and there were no fans. We sat at the bar ordered drinks and the Nashville Hot Chicken Dip. I love visiting Nashville and we both love spice in our food. The dip was so hot that the only thing you could taste was heat. I don't remember ever eating bad food in Nashville. The bartender replaced it with the Spinach and Artichoke Dip which was better. My husband decided that he wanted to eat so we ordered Norfolk Cheese Steak for him and Fish and Chips for me. There was a little steak with lots of fries. There was a good portion of tasteless fish and lots of fries. After we decided that we would only visit Grain if someone invited us to a celebration we decided we needed to see the view before we left. One side had gliders, a few games and buildings. The other side had tables, a narrow view of the river and more buildings. The bartenders were super nice and attentive. Grain gets a 3 because of the bartenders. If I could give separate scores, the bartenders would get a 5 and the food would get a 1.

Great place for a night out with friends. A long wait to dine in, but you could always hangout by the gazebo bar while enjoying live music. I had smash burger, fries, and a cold glass of blue moon, and I really enjoyed it. We also ordered the poke bowl, and it was good also. We all enjoyed it here. Highly recommended. We’ll surely be back soon.

This was a really nice rooftop place. I loved the lit trees and live band. This place had a nice chill vibe. After certain hours it's self seating. The only downfall was alot of the free tables were still messy from previous guests. As far as their late night food menu, the bang bang shrimp was amazing! My friend loved her pretzel bread as well. We had a great server as well, I can't remember her name but she was a red head and did a great job with the timing of our orders with how busy it was.

Great location for not only a good meal, but a cool spot to have it. The rooftop at the Main, especially during warm months, is very enjoyable. What I liked about eating here this morning though was that the service was above and beyond wonderful. Right now for Brunch they only have a serve yourself buffet. The food was wonderful, but I'm on crutches and visiting by myself. The staff though was kind enough to help me out, letting me pick what I wanted and then they brought everything over. I know it must have been an inconvenience, but for me it really made my day. Just that little bit to go above and beyond was really appreciated.
