A classic. Play pool, chat with friends. Great burgers, and a fair selection of beers.
Only downside is it's a little space-limited, so there might not be a seat in a bust time. Only cash accepted, a minor inconvenience (and there is an ATM).

Pretty good food and really reasonable prices. Our server was full of personality and helped us through the menu. It has that dive bar feel, but don't let that take away from the very satisfying burgers and appetizers.

We ate here on a weeknight, fairly early (around 5:00, 5:30). They were moderately busy and there was only one wait staff person working. She seemed a bit overwhelmed at first, but we received good service and food. The prices were also very reasonable, we'll stop by again for a dinner before we leave the area.

This has been one of my go to places. Is it fancy? No. Does it have the best burgers? Yes. Are the staff great yes. So today I went in after being gone most of the summer... OMG ROOT BEER ON TAP! Yes the kind of root beer you went to get at the local stand after a day at the beach. The kind you can't get in a bottle or can! BTW They also added ginger ale on tap!

First time here and definitely going to be back. Brenda the chef did an awesome job with my burger. So fresh and juicy. And the cocktails were spot on.

To my mind this is simply the best bar burger in Berrien County; bacon and cheese deluxe with everything. The staff is super friendly and the prices are ridiculously low. Rumor has it that this is also the place where Tommy Shaw of Styx wrote the song 'Too Much Time on My Hands' waiting for his wife who was a Niles, Michigan girl. There's no plaque but if you watch the music video for the song, you can see it. The Tavern is good, fast and cheap. Try it! You'll love it...

Its not the easiest place to get a wheelchair through, but the food and the service was top notch. My daughter ordered me a bacon cheeseburger, and it was phenomenal. Our server I believe was working all by herself. She was amazing.

Stopped here for dinner while i as in town and had one of their pork tenderloin sandwich's which was amazing. I have had this sandwich elsewhere and it was either dry or way too big . This sandwich was a perfect size and I also added fries. the fries were done to perfection which I haven't had a perfect fry in a while. The server we had was very personable and funny and took my humor with a smile and I loved her attitude. I will come here every time I am in town. The price was was less than I would have paid, price very fair
