Flat Breads Cafe

I went there for the first time today since moving to Chestnut Hill. One the best sandwich places around friendly staff and the sandwiches were filling but totally worth a lot of healthy choices. I had the tuna melt which was very good. I walked back with it since its it's take out only and by the time I ate it the warp was still nice and hot. If i ever need a sandwich or a wrap I'll definitely come back.

Charming, clean atmosphere with friendly service. The selection of sandwiches and breakfast options is great. Given that the sandwiches are already pricey, I suggest that they cease charging to add hot relish. When you charge a premium price for a premium product, don't be petty. It would be like Tiffany's charging for the lovely blue box. Also, some outdoor seating that has protection from the rain would be great. Although it is great that they have an agreement to share seating with the nearby creamery, they could improve their own seating a little. All that said, our wraps were great, especially the hot ones on a rainy day.

The food is absolutely amazing and the portions are large so you get your money's worth. Anything I tried turned out to taste very good. Around lunch time there can be a slightly long wait where the line spills outside of the shop. Other than that, Flat Breads is the ideal place to go for your lunch break.

Overall: Great food for a great price, fast service, stand-up people, and *better than El Pelon's* One negative: they don't accept American Express. Before I went out on a limb and tried this restaurant today, I was a regular at El Pelon. But after getting a bigger, meatier, and juicier sandwich at Flat Breads Cafe than any burrito I've had at El Pelon -- for cheaper -- there's no way I can go back to my old ways. The service was outstanding, the man working the counter seemed like a stand-up gentleman and was quite polite. The service was fast and organized. The sandwich was nice and hot and -- I can't say this enough -- a lot of meat for only $8. Very filling and not too carby. Generous amounts of guacamole, too. Highly recommend--just remember to bring your Visa.

Flat Breads Cafe is my favorite sandwich shop. Their wraps are absolutely delicious and the selection is great. You have to try the America's Club, Acapulco, and Californian. Everything on the menu is awesome. Outside of just the fantastic food, the owner is very involved with the business and the entire staff is very personal and professional. They prepare the wraps incredibly quickly and are courteous while they do it! Flat Breads Cafe is easily the best sandwich shop I've been to and one of the most unique. Very rarely do you find a place that combines great food, fast service, and a friendly environment. If you haven't tried Flat Breads before then be sure to stop in. They receive my highest recommendation!
