Good coffee, nice setting to sit and relax compared to the big coffee chains. Went in for an early morning coffee and breakfast but unfortunately breakfast menu didn't start till a bit later so didn't manage to eat. Have eaten here in the past though (both for breakfast and lunch) and it's always been wonderful.

I normally only stop by for coffee (which is the best in Newton Abbot) but having to spend longer in town today I took the opportunity to try the lunch menu. The scallops were cooked to perfection, cauliflower puree and lemon caviar were a lovely addition that cut through the richness of the black pudding. Will definetely be back to try more food here in the future.

I really enjoy visiting The Other Cup, especially now that they offer delicious food too. Its my new go-to spot in Newton Abbot, the drinks are well made, the food is always very good and the atmosphere is spot on. The staff are friendly and helpful, and don't jump on you for orders or asking if you need extras, it's all very calm and enjoyable!

Lovely little coffee shop that's a brand of it's own. Friendly and welcoming staff, quick service and great coffee with a line of pastries that are a little different. We had the Raspberry and White chocolate slice and Chocolate Cinnamon swirl, delicious 😋 Toilets upstairs ( bit of a slog with mobility issues, but no biggy ) with a baby changing facility, nappies and wipes free. Would definitely recommend this little gem 💎 👌

The coffee was of an excellent third wave style, strong, beautifully made and flavourful. My cake was also excellent as was my wife's lunch of avocado, toast etc. The service was also very fast. The place deserves a five star review really, but I couldn't handle the noise level inside, which I think was due to concrete surfaces and no soft furnishings, combined with music being played quite loudly. I moved outside where I greatly enjoyed my coffee. Excellent coffee shop, highly recommended in good weather.

Me and my mom stopped by for a coffee and were really impressed by the quality especially compared to all the other establishments in the area which serve cheap tasteless coffee and food. We came back for lunch and were blown away by the quality of food and drinks on offer. The owner clearly cares about the place and it really shows. Really tasty and high quality food cooked to perfection. 100% recommended!!

We stopped for a quick bite to eat and a coffee, ended up having a pastrami toasted sandwich, bacon toasted sandwich and two cakes. The toasties were really flavourful, fresh bread, tasty ingredients. The bacon was perfectly cooked, nice and crispy, and the sun-dried tomato complimented it well. The pastrami and Gouda had punchy pickles and a healthy helping of coleslaw. It was every so slightly over toasted on the bottom but not so much that it detracted from the flavour. The cakes were ok, fairly moist, the polenta lemon cake was not overly lemony and the vegan brownie was incredibly rich, but the sandwiches alone are well worth a visit. The staff are super smiley and friendly and it's a really nice place for a coffee and bite to eat.
