Second Vine Wine

I always have a great time when I visit the only Black-owned wine shop in NOLA. The owner and staff are amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the wine selections are top-notch, and sourced from vineyards who understand sustainability and social responsibility. The wine tastings on Friday afternoons are a treat, and the space is available for events, too. You can buy a pizza next door and bring it to the shop to enjoy a bottle of wine while you eat! Last weekend they hosted a plant shop pop up, so naturally I had to adopt a few cholorophyll kids while I sipped wine. I highly recommend Second Vine Wine for a cute girls night, birthday party space, or even #solidatechronicles. Not sure what to drink? Ask for Roxy- her recommendations are on point.

Love this new location. The Magazine Street location feels laid back and unassuming but it's a wonderful spot for date nights. Also, during the week if you want to unwind and grab a good glass or bottle of wine check them out. He is currently doing wine tastings on Fridays and the Chardonnay that I had was EXCELLENT.

If you haven't been here, go. Mr. Troy was great and we absolutely loved this spot, the wine was great. It felt like everyone was family and we were talking to the people seated at the table next to us. Every table is separated by a short wall and has enough seating for 3+ people. There is also a private room available to be reserved in the back of the facility. This is a space you can go to and socialize or just grab a quick bottle of wine to sip on with some friends. We absolutely will be back.
