We were looking for a restaurant that would give us some "home cooking" while we were on a road trip and we came across this place in our search. There was only one worker, but she had a huge personality and made us feel right at home. The food was A1!! The chicken was made fresh when we got there but didn't take long at all - it was perfectly seasoned. When we go to Nashville again, we'll definitely be stopping back by.

The food is cheap and delicious. Had the meatloaf, turnip greens and sweet potatoes and I will be returning soon. On top of the food, the service is fantastic. Both T-Bird and the woman behind the counter were very friendly and great to talk to while I waited 5 minutes for some fresh food to fry. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Food was horrible not good at all they did not have a big selection the day that I went they had hamburger patties with gravy on it tasted rubbery..... turnip greens were cooked well but had a sweet taste to them, so not bad if you like sweet greens. I wanted sweet potatoes but they were so dry it looked like clay. If you want to try it I'll suggest that you go with food that is made too ordered like there wings! I will not return.....And it does need to be remodeled if you're looking for an upscale atmosphere this is not for you! Very bland service and food

Walked in today after seeing the Google pics and review. This place needs a 6 star rating. Easy to get to. Very clean inside. Very friendly employees/owner. And the food, omg the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and real homemade mac and cheese. My wife got the cabbage and her eyes told me how good it was.

This food was good! They prepared the catfish hot and fresh, and also have specialties every day of the week. Friendly people, mom-and-pop atmosphere, down-home style, and very affordable. I love how they do the meat and three but give you lots of options for the three. Fantastic little gem in Madison TN.
