Spice Mart

Highlights: Sweets!! Sweets!! and Sweets!! I’ve been to spice mart multiple times but started trying out der desserts recently and it’s my go to place for sweets these days. Rasmalai is der best dessert so far!! It has right amount of sweetness and makes you crave for it. I’ve also tries der snacks and they are good too. Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone craving for Indian desserts.

Not sure where to begin…worse ever customer satisfaction…so it begins with me ordering food through grubhub…I ordered 6 items…Initial deliver time window 45-55mins… as soon as order got accepted I got a text saying your food will deliver after 1.5hour…I was still okay…after almost 2 hour I got a call from grubhub driver saying restaurant gave a receipt for refund for 2 things out of 6….I was still okay…driver showed up at home delivered food…we were all excited as my kids were waiting for food for last 2 hours and guess what we received….1 item out of 6 and pav bhaji came without pav (pic attached)??? How does that makes any sense here….I called restaurant to get an answer why they didn’t deliver anything….instead of listening to my concerns restaurant person keep blaming on grubhub that we told them and was not at all willing to listen and consider that they have to apologize for making my kids wait for 2 hours and after that not delivering anything….person on phone hung up while out was talking and kept cutting my call afterwards….really my point is if you cannot deliver don’t take orders and if you cannot talk to customers when they are mad you have no right to run a business…I wish I can give them 0 starts….really bad customer service and this was my first time ordering from this restaurant…I will never order again from here….

Over all an Ok grocery store. They have a separate meat section with variety of goat, chicken and fish option. However I also see expired products on the shelf, when I caught up a expired Chings soy sauce, I informed the seller.. they took it off from the shelf immediately. But I found it back on the shelf after few days. (They also wiped out the expiry date from the bottle).. Edited 4/29: we ordered flour and immediately after opening realized the foul smell. Don't know when it was packed. No packaging or expiration date on the packet indicates the intention of store management. Cannot trust the quality!!!
