Juju's

I was probably there at unfortunate timing but, after waiting for a while, I sat down at a table outdoors (they are dog friendly by the way) and when the waitress finally came by, she gave me a very basic menu (think burgers and wraps) which had no vegan options and only one sad vegetarian option (a veggie wrap). I was very disappointed since I had seen the reviews here and it looked like they usually had nice blackboard specials involving some plant based options. When I asked about this, they told me that they usually do have a much better menu but not that day. As I said, probably unfortunate timing but I had to get up and go.

JuJu's is a tastefully decorated cafe with a relaxed and convivial ambience. I really enjoy the styling and artworks on the walls. I visited in a Monday morning and it was busy but the friendly staff took the time to read out the menu to me as I'd forgotten my glasses. The Asian omelet with wombok, shallot, ginger, coriander salad was deliciously served with a touch of soy sauce. The coffee in this place has a rich chocolatety flavour and a single shot late has a good strong flavour. Best coffee I've tasted in Murwillumbah. The bliss balls are yummy and healthy. Sorry I couldn't drink the bottled town water even though it's filtered this was the only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth.
