The Cookie Store

Bought a cookie there last week. I took a bite and immediately realized this cookie was not fully baked. I went back to the counter and asked for a refund. I was told they couldn't give me a refund and that all their cookies were "soft" like the one I had and that I could pick another if I liked. This cookies was clearly doughy. Why would I want another just like the one I just had? I have never had a cookie like this before from this company. This made me emotional as I am clearly pregnant and should not be eating raw cookie dough. I left, and immediately had to run to the nearest bathroom where I puked for about 10 min. I will never return to this business.

I just had someone close out my transaction from yesterday for The Cookie Store - Stones River Town Centre and add a $2 tip to my total. I called the store to get this rectified and “Sharon” immediately denied that any of the employees would do this, yet clearly someone did as you can see in the screenshot. Things like this is why I do not use my bank card for certain transactions. I repeatedly asked for the owner or managers name and she stated there were no managers only employees. Then denied to give me the owners name and disconnected the call. I called back and she finally gave me a name of Jeremy T. as the owner. She also stated that employees do not close out the transactions, yet I know that to be a lie as I have managed a restaurant or two myself. It’s not the amount that was STOLEN from me, it’s the principle. The “owner” Jeremy called me back and stated that it may have been another customer that came behind me and added the tip to my card. I mentioned the way his employee handled the situation and all of the lies she told me during our conversation. He said he did not want to get into that. I also asked if that was an appropriate way to handle customers and he said yes and hung up on me. I will NEVER visit this establishment again as they support people stealing and have NO customer service skills. If you have ever usss your card at this restaurant I would strongly suggest reviewing your transactions.

This place is AMAZING!!!! My favorite place was always Great American Cookie Company, but when I found that there wasn't a local one, I was bummed. Enter this place...I am in love! The cookies are HUGE and amazing! The only thing I DON'T like is the calorie count. Haha! So worth every bite, though. I've never been in person, but will be soon.
