Clay Pit

To be clear, this is the ONLY time I’ve eaten at a buffet and only went through the line once. So that is saying a lot! The choices are so limited. There are 2 protein choices and that’s it. They didn’t even have curry. Seriously?! It was definitely lacking in options. The spice level was definitely too high for me as well. I like a “little kick” but this was just way too much. The water tasted like plastic, so I’m not sure what that was about. And they didn’t have any type of dessert at all. Most Indian restaurants offer mango pudding, which I love. Nothing at all here. The service was great and the naan was delicious! But not worth the time or money. (Unless you only like chicken tiki masala and rice, because that’s basically all there is.)

hank you sooooooooooooo much clay pit. I never tried this type of food before and I’m so impressed. Thank you for the rice pudding. I love it so much. Great customer service. I ordered Uber eats and it was a busy night for Uber so my order came a little late but the nice man on the phone ( I called about 4 times 😂😂)he made sure I received my order after they were shut down. He didn’t forget my hot sauce to !! Thumbs up.Phenomenal food. I’m a truck driver and I will definitely eat here again I’m impressed for my first time. The Indian tea was really good as well. I love the mango lassi. The portion of food given is a well Devine amount for the price. It was kind of late and a lot of food so I had to save it for tomorrow’s lunch.

The guy who took my order was not friendly and even snapped at me when I asked about naan (I'm getting it! He said sharply) He just assumed I wanted water and never asked what I wanted to drink. The buffet was much more limited than in the past. An older gentleman got more water for me and was much kinder than the guy at the register. I hope this was just a fluke. I know they're opening another location and I plan on trying it once its opened. I've enjoyed Clay Pit in the past but today left much to be desired.
