This one quickly became one of our favorite sushi restaurants. Extensive menu and specials list, including some excellent appetizers like brussel sprouts and spicy edamame. Also a great variety of vegan dishes and even some delicious vegan rolls. The settings and interior are just like most sushi restaurants in this area, i.e. simple and functional, in an uninspiring strip mall parking lot, with no outside seating. Still, a very good place to get sushi.

If you like sushi, this is one of my top picks in all of the bay area. Super fresh fish, beautiful very tasty rolls and good service. Highly recommended!

We’ve been going to Hanabi for several years because it was consistently better than anything in Fremont. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. During our last three visits, there has been a noticeable decline in both quality and size. The rolls and nigiri are now substantially smaller than before. The freshness has also diminished. It appears that they are trying to economize, while at the same time increasing their tip expectations. We were in there Friday night and it was barely populated. They are nice people and I hope they will return the caliber of their food to its original state.

The place is clean, every table has hand sanitizer which is the new normal now. We saw the waitress sanitizing the bottle of soy sauce after customers left. Customer service and food are great.

One of my top favorite sushi places! They have so many rolls to choose from, appetizers are great too! I come here at least once a week, customer service is outstanding, rolls are all so good and you never get tired of trying something new

Reason for visiting: dinner after work Date/time of visit: Wednesday night Parking: in the lot, free Party size: 2 Environment/ambience: not too crowded. A couple of TVs with no sound on. A few small tables around; there's a connected room that looks to be used for larger parties. Korean run sushi restaurant. Service: service was good. Pretty attentive. Food: had the hungry roll (good), lambada roll (ok), heart attack roll (good), and double lobster roll (good). They put a lot of sauce on their rolls. Not spicy either, even when asking for very spicy. Cost: a little expensive, $85 for 2.

This was a fairly average dining experience. Overpriced menu and no flexibility in ordering. For the dinner set, you could have nigiri as an option but you couldn’t choose which nigiri you wanted - chef’s selection. The mushroom steak had ‘torch taste’ as it had been finished off with the butane torch a tad too much. The nigiri and miso soup were the saving grace but I wouldn’t come back when there are so many other amazing sushi places in the area like Tomi as one example at the same or cheaper price.

Great bento box, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Its one of our regular places to go. According to our nutrition expert, Japanese food is healthier than Chinese because there are no hidden sugars. Bon appetit! Visited today. Upgraded presentation is very impressive.
