Don’t think about it - just go! The atmosphere, decor, service, food and drinks were immaculate (bussin’😉). We literally returned three times. Service: I always say that customer service can make or break someone’s experience and will ultimately determine if I return. Lauri-Ann is a rockstar. She was knowledgeable, patient, and really welcomed us in a way that should make the owners really proud to have her on their team. You can tell when someone has passion and really enjoys what they do. From hosting to serving, she provided amazing recommendations, whipped us up delicious cocktails, and all while tending to a room full of diners and with a welcoming smile. We were sold on the experience before we even tried the food! Food & Drinks: The chicken sandwich and breakfast sandwiches were purchased twice 🫣 I’m (not) ashamed because it was so good we had to have it again. We came back for dinner and tried the prix-fixe menu that came with a plethora of options. From the very first bite, we were sold. I looked at my partner who mirrored a wide-eyed gaze as we dove back into the food. From decadent mushrooms, melt in your mouth lamb, and a light and airy dessert to conclude the meal, this experience was easily in our top 10 meals around the world. We can’t thank you and your team enough for a very memorial experience in Montreal. We’ll definitely see you one day soon!

Hélicoptère is The restaurant to stop at in Montreal ! The food is delicious, the presentation is simply art, and the service is just perfection. Five couples celebrating our friend’s 40 birthday, we choose to go with the incredible pairing menu. With eleven bottles of wine, eight courses, and many shots of an excellent homemade orange-style limoncello, we had an unforgettable experience conducted by the maestro Philip. Philip made me forget that I must be worried about eating in a restaurant. Philip took full responsibility for my gluten-free needs and made sure I focused on having fun, something that only happens in 100% gluten-free restaurants. My servings looked the same as the not gluten-free version my friends had, and the taste was unbelievably good. The best thing about it was the surprising price. Thank you, Philip & the amazing Hélicoptère team, for allowing me to have a unique, unforgettable evening with my friends without worrying about my Celiac.

This place was amazing! I had an amazing time with my friends. It felt indulgent and luxurious from the food to the vibe. The service was 👩‍🍳💋 impeccable. It felt like fine dining done casually yet effortlessly? Not to mention it is very affordable. I only got to stop in Montréal for 36 hours on this visit and I’m very glad we chose this spot for our dinner. oh, and the challah bread with the cheese squash dish is the thing of dreams.

Food was delicious and tasted unique! It’s a nice small place if you woman try something authentic. Though the plates are small, I’ve got full after the first one. I got Pleurotes - oyster mushrooms with whipped feta! That’s one of my favorite now! Even hard to explain how salty feta balances perfectly with creamy mushrooms! The combination is mind-blowing for sure! For second dish I got Courge - squash with home made ham… that was so filling that I didn’t finish it. Selection of wine I also nice. First time tried orange wine there. Didn’t have big expectations from cocktails, but Pina Hochelaga was so refreshing and delicious! And big thank you to Melissa! Who took care of me at the bar that night! Definitely will be back soon!:)

The tasting menu was a great experience, everything that was put in front of us was at least a 4/5, though most things I'd rate 5/5. The staff was friendly and the service was reasonably quick given the number of courses. The whole meal took about 2.5 hrs and the dessert was a strong finish. Would definitely recommend it, the only thing I might not do again was the wine pairing.

Restaurant Hélicoptère was the perfect place for a recent family celebration. The tasting menu was absolutely outstanding!. Each dish was perfectly proportioned and delicious! Equally outstanding was the service. We want to especially thank Jason for making us feel so welcome, and for his patience in helping us choose the perfect wines to complement the dishes, allowing us to taste several before making our final choices. While the restaurant may be small, the talent here is huge!! We will definitely return when we're back in Montreal. Merci beaucoup to all at Hélicoptère from the James Family!!
