If I could give it no stars I would. I lived here around 15 years ago. Twice we tried to get food but they were completely out of chicken both times. (Yes for real) I figured they were doing a little better since they were still open…. I’ve went there three times in the past year since I’ve moved back here and haven’t gotten to try it yet. 1st time the chicken was old and soggy, I asked for Some fresh chicken and they said they were getting ready to close and didn’t have time to make more, I felt that was odd because it was in the middle of the afternoon. So I got a refund and went to Taco Bell. When I drove by two hours later the store was still open.so I don’t even know what was going on that time. 2nd attempt I placed an order through the app two hours ahead of time, but when I got to the store to pick up my food (which I had already paid for!) at 7:45pm the store was empty. I had to call and request a refund. 3rd and final attempt was today. I called earlier to make sure they were actually going to be open. I placed my order on the app, got to the store at the time given, after around five minutes someone finally acknowledged me standing by the counter. I was asked if I was waiting on a pick up and was told my order was almost ready. Ten minutes past my pickup time, the lady brought food to the counter but it was someone else’s. After a few more minutes I asked if she knew how much longer my order would be. “I don’t know, When I get to it” was the response. Awful cheeky answer since it was 15 minutes past my pick up time and it wasn’t even started yet. So I went ahead and told her to skip it because I couldn’t wait I’d go online and cancel it. If the store is always that shorted handed they shouldn’t even be open. There’s hardly anywhere to eat in this small town, that’s the only reason I can guess they are still open. It blows my mind that I can’t go the KCF and just get a dang bucket of chicken!!! I mean COME ON!!

Just got in the drive through, only wanting to get a couple of biscuits. The person on headset says "hold for a minute", I say okay. A couple of minutes go by, so I just say "hello?", she says back "I said give me a minute", to which I responded "well it's been a few minutes, I just..." and she interrupts me to say "I understand sir but there's five people in front of you", in a very rude tone. I just say "I'll just go elsewhere, thank you". I make a call to the restaurant, and ask for the manager. It was the manager on drive through who was being rude. She immediately takes a tone as she informs me she wasn't rude to me at all, and she didn't say what she did (I have a dash cam that records audio, if she wants to argue about it...). Basically she was rude and argumentative about treating me rudely. My advice is to not waste your time here. A little customer service goes a long way, but apparently she was sorely lacking today.

Yesterday I went to this KFC and had a very big order to feed my family of 11. The food was out in 6 minutes it was hot and fresh and the gentleman I don’t remember his name but I do remember he did tell me he is the new GM was so kind and professional he made sure I had everything I needed and he was just so happy to be serving me when I gave him my card to pay his kitchen staff was on it it was such a great team effort. My family will be back no doubt.

The food was great, the WAIT was not! If I had not been craving KFC never would have put up with a 45 minute wait in Drive Thru. Staff could not seem to remember which car had what, and were rude about it. They were loudly yelling and cussing at each other in the kitchen, and didn't seem to care that we could hear. The food must stay consistent, because the entire line waited AN HOUR for them.

Kind of the worst KFC I've ever been to but the only one around Montevallo. Ordered grubhub the other night, placed order at 530, gets delayed 2 times while the driver is waiting at the restaurant, then they cancel the order saying they are closing soon. It was 7 o'clock yall dont close until 8 stop being useless and do your job. UPDATED: They're still horrible. Two orders in a row the past couple months they have somehow turned 3 piece meals into single piece meals, gave original instead of crispy, and left sides out of the last order entirely.

The best word to describe is incompetent, I can't tell how many times I have gotten food I didn't even order than what I was supposed to get. Save yourself time and money and don't eat there
