Carmelas Pizza

While casually asking about one of their dishes in the window, the owner offered me a free slice of that Roman pie to take home and taste. It was tasty. The owners are always so very nice. Very accommodating with extra sauce, etc.. Their pizza and parm hero have been enjoyed by our family. One of our top go-to, no-brainer pizza place.

My dad’s meal (pictured) was more-than-generously piled high with perfectly-cooked seafood. The pizza is excellent; thin, a little on the crispy side. Go to their FB page to see a huge variety of their pizzas. The building is super clean & charming, and the owners are Very friendly! Highly recommend!

We are former NYers and have been living out of state for a long time. We came in from out of town to visit family and stopped in on our first night. We were the last customers of the night and got in right before closing time. Pizza was great as was the chicken Parm. We joked that we drove in 600 miles just for the pizza and service was personable and friendly like family. No pressure on us to finish, did not clean up around us and when I offered to pay first so he could close out the register he said “eat first. No worries. As long as the lights are on we are open.” On our way out, he came out and said hold on a minute. Someone ran out to our car and he had boxed up the last few slices of the night, no charge, for us to take with us for our parents. We are not here often but we will be back whenever we are in town. Thank you so much!

I'm in Houston and for a Mothers Day present I had dinner sent to my mom's home from Carmela's instead of flowers. They even provided a little card from me with the delivery! My mother just finished her lasagna, salad, and cannolis and said it was delicious and MUCH better than getting flowers! Thanks, Carmela's!
