China Buffet

I've always loved this place. Everyone has different tastes! If you don't like sushi don't eat it and complain on your review! Some people just live to complain. You need to sit down, shut up, and enjoy this food. Always good, always fresh, and the staff are very diligent and fast. I always take it home but I sat down for a change and it was wonderful. Quit your whining, and make sure if you bring a kid you don't let it cry all through dinner. I hate people that do that. Go away.

Except for the area where the food was, the entire place was dirty. Bathrooms, and dining area especially. It was only 6:30 when I ate there on a weekday, but it looked as if it had been post dinner rush on a Friday night. The food wasn't especially bad, but it wasn't very good either. And to top it off the price was $12 plus $2 for the soft drink on a weekday. As far as value goes, this place should have earned one star.

I have been going to this buffet for over 5 years, and to this day I still love it! Though there was a rough patch, I must admit. Lately, it has been so good, it is unbelievable, especially for the price. This place is far from my home, about an 1-1 1/2 hour away, and I still go, it is so worth the trip. The sushi is always fresh, the hibachi grill does need more items, but overall good. The food is always fresh when I go, so I love this place!!! You have a customer for life here, though I have to limit it to my cheat days ;-P

First of all: over priced $12.00 for buffet. Second: Sushi doesn't taste fresh. Third: It's hard for me to get food poisoning, I had 1 plate at this place and after spending $43 on just 2 people I just lost $60 since I can't go into work. Yes, it's closer to Monroe area but the one in Matthews is better, more variety, cheaper, friendly, foods fresher and actually hot. Of course everyone has different taste buds but when the seafood or chicken and even veggies taste like they should be in the trash and not on a serving area to 4 different people, um no..

My husband and I came to this establishment for dinner around 5:30pm. When we went to the buffet to fix our plates the food looked absolutely HORRIBLE....Everything was so old and dried out it was just nasty.... Our server was a very sweet lady, I expressed our concern to her and asked her if they were going to refresh the food....She said yes mam and fresh food started coming out....Unfortunately the lady who was putting out the fresh food was mixing the old food with the fresh food....We couldn't believe this was being done, along with the few other customers who were also complaining to the manager....For 29 dollars I expect the food to at least be edible....We will not be returning....

We used to frequent this buffet. We were both REALLY disappointed in both the food quality and atmosphere last weekend. A patron talked on speaker phone so loud it disrupted our entire section and he even ate standing at the buffet while continuing his phone call. It lasted our entire meal!! Waitress did nothing. We reported to management and nothing was done.

Horrible good and the owner was extremely rude. We went in during lunch time, they charged us for 2 adult dinner meals and 4 lunch meals for the kids. Two of the kids were under the age of two. Drinks were vharged separately for everyone. The owner kept walking by our table inspecting it like we were going to steal something. It was a pretty horrible experience for my mom, daughter, nephews, and myself. We will not be returning.
