This place was insanely good AND really fantastic service. I came twice while visiting family in Monroe last November and got the whimsy both times, was very impressed each time. I ended up moving here 6 months later, only to have them close due to difficulties from the pandemic 😭 I really hope they are able to come back in some capacity. I miss you, Stone Table. Seriously, I've never enjoyed a restaurant as much as this (at least in this country).

Best shrimp tacos ever! My first time at this place. I've seen it many times but today decided to make it happen. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Ridiculous looking cakes that I wanted to try so bad but I'm on a diet and got fries for a splurge before I saw the cakes!!! Next time I'll know better. If you get water or tea they have a lovely little bar with flavored simple syrups, fruit water and various other goodies. So awesome. I can't wait to go back. I need to find more excuses to visit Monroe just so I can eat at Stone Table!

A wonderful mix of casual and fine dining in downtown Monroe! Very cute place where you can drop in for lunch or make reservations for dinner (on the weekend). Staff is helpful and nice, and the menu prices are wonderful and reasonable for the absolute quality food you are getting. My advice would be to make weekend reservations if you want fine dining, or pop in for lunch if you want casual. Full menu available both times. The chefs here know what they are doing, and you get generous portions no matter what you get. Fun to bring a date or the whole family. I can't wait to come back!

We were here early on a Saturday afternoon. It's located in downtown Monroe and it's a shame there are so few places to eat downtown, we could only find two, Stone Table and a Thai place. We chose Stone Table because it was a neat little place and we liked the feel. I got two Shrimp Tacos that were awesome (see pic). Most of the seating is on the inside but there is one table outside that sits 4-6 people (nice day so we sat outside along the street/sidewalk) . I would recommend as the food was good and the staff came out at least three times to check on us and make sure the food was good and if we needed anything. Parking in downtown is easy as there is plenty of street parking.

Sweet little spot. Interesting menu, daily specials, nice vibe and a nice view. People were nice, food was fresh and they take Apple Pay. Will be back for sure. I got a wrap and it came with homemade tortilla chips and some kind of artisan salt. I want to go back for the brisket and blueberries if it’s still on special.

Both dishes were delicious. The prices are very reasonable, especially for what you get. I chose the whimsy dish and it was amazing. Easily, this is one of my top favorite restaurants now. Check out the menu online ahead of time, as you order when you first get in. They have menus, but it's faster if you already know what you want. I strongly suggest choosing whimsy and letting the chef prepare something special!

Great food, farm-fresh ingredients, and the chef will come out and explain exactly how he preps the dish if asked. The whimsy is what my husband has gotten every time, and it is superb. It varies daily, as it is made "on a whim" with whatever ingredients the chef has in hand and allows him to be creative. There is a variable selection of juices, freshly made, and the sweet tea that we are all used to here in the south is made as sweet or unsweetened as desired - you add the simple syrup. Or the BlackBerry strawberry syrup. Or the ginger lemon. Whichever you prefer. I haven't had the desserts, or tried all of the entrees, but will be back to try more. Pictured is one of the whimsy creations (chicken, bacon, pepper, cheese quesadilla, with sweet young purple amaranth, among other ingredients), and a chicken salad sandwich, which sounds plain, but is divine. Highly recommended!
