Cannot recommend this place enough. Probably the best bang for your buck around. We have been in Monroe working and discovered this place when another fell through, and went back the 3 remaining days of the week. Promptly opens at 11 (when we take lunch) and our food is out within 10 minutes. We’ll continue to visit for lunch. $9 gets you more than enough food. Thoroughly impressed!

Very pleased with Monroe Grill and its staff for making our monthly visit an enjoyable one. Our party of 11 was well takin care of by our Server, Alyssa. She was exceptionally pleasant and very attentive to our needs. Everyone ordered from the breakfast items with no complaints from the group. Again, thanks to the kitchen and our server for another enjoyable outing. Only one issue to bring up. I think $3 for a cup of coffee is way too much. I would like to see that price reduced in the future.

I had not been here since before the pandemic. I always liked it, however, recently I visited and the food was not as good as it once was. Worse than that, wait staff or kitchen staff went into the restroom and smoked a cigarette. We had to leave because the smoke was so bad. Do they not realize that it is illegal to smoke in public places in Michigan? Besides that it was a beautiful evening and they could have stepped outside at least. We said something to our waitress and she laughed out off and asked if it was a vape. Um, I know the difference. Will never visit again.

So far so good on the 1st trip. French fries are awesome.....cheddar jalapeño poppers are hard to find in restaurants most are cream cheese.... steak and cheese is on chabata bread.... chicken tenders were good but skinny. Great tasting high quality food here. I'll be back for breakfast.
