Mudbug

Impressed with how much food you get for the price. You order as if you’re getting takeout but can use the seating to eat at the location. The crawfish was pretty fresh and crispy. I wish they were cleaned a little better, though. Establishment was clean including the restrooms. Staff was really nice but they got distracted from conversation amongst themselves quite frequently to the point where there was some neglecting the customers, including me. Paying additional money because of using a card is a little strange in 2022.

Awful and poorly presented with food falling into the bag. I wish I had taken a photo prior to taking the opened plate out of the tied up bag.. Receipt and ketchup packets were thrown on the top of my food, hence the greasy receipt. Shrimp and fries were overcooked and drenched with old nasty oil. They did not put my hush puppies in my order, but I was charged. My husband called back to let them know and nobody answered. This was my second visit and the first visit was nothing like this one. Too much money for this unclean food....It made me lose my appetite because of the way they threw it together.

I had the Cajun Box. It is 3 lbs of crawfish, two corn, potatoes, and sausage. The food was incredible. The vibe at the restaurant was great. We got there about 30 minutes before they closed but we were not rushed in the slightest. Had a long conversation with the owner about Mobile as I just moved here. I would highly recommend Mud bugs at the loop.

Mudbugs is awesome! Generous portions, fresh seafood, and incredibly friendly staff. We celebrated a birthday here with a wide selection of fried seafood: crab claws, shrimp, catfish, and crawfish. Everything was delicious...fried to perfection. My son said that from now on, EVERY family birthday dinner will be at Mudbugs!
